Today you will continue on your journey towards Namibia by making your way through the Piketberg Porteville Blue Crane Route stopping en route in the wild and untamed Cederberg Wilderness Area. Your accommodation tonight is in the small hamlet of Clanwilliam, one of the ten oldest towns in South African and one of the places where rooibos tea is planted and cultivated.

Today you will drive yourself to your next destination, the stark and stunning Etosha National Park. This is Namibia’s premiere game viewing experience. Vegetation ranges from dense bush to open plains attracting a diversity of wildlife. In the heart of the Park is The Etosha Pan – a shallow depression that covers an area of 5000sq kilometers.

Today you will drive yourself to the beautiful Waterberg Plateau National Park. The Waterberg Plateau is a particularly prominent feature, elevated high above the plains of the Kalahari of Eastern Namibia. The park is ecologically diverse and rich and has over 200 different species of bird and some rare species of small antelope on the lower hills of the mountain.

Today you will drive yourself to the Okonjima Game Reserve, home of The AfriCat Foundation and the perfect African safari destination. Namibia is home to the world’s largest wild/free-ranging cheetah population and The AfriCat Foundation has been the saviour of over 1000 carnivores since 1993, of which 86% have been released back into the wild!

Today you will make your way back to Windhoek to take in some last minute shopping or just to relax before your journey back home. We recommends that you pay a visit to the Ibenstein Weaver for 100% hand-made carpets and wall hangings from 100% Namibian karakul wool.
