Ultimate Alphonse Island Holiday

Ultimate Alphonse Island Holiday

An hour’s flight from Mahé, you will find an island destination like no other. It’s a well-rounded resting place that offers plenty of activities to keep you entertained, along with postcard-perfect beaches and a large pool which always seems to be just the right temperature. Relax, frolic and enjoy.

Upon arrival you will be welcomed by the Alphonse Island management team, followed by check-in and a briefing while your luggage is transferred to your Bungalow or Suite. Freshen up before relaxing around the pool or thr “Le Lys” bar.

Spend your morning exploring the island by bicycle or on foot. In the afternoon you will have a casting lesson from one of our world-class fishing guides, followed by a few fun hours targeting Bonefish, Triggers, Permit, GT’s and Milkfish. Careful, its addictive!

PADI Discover SCUBA (DSD) teaches you the very basics to make sure that you can dive safely without having to take the full course. A DSD on Alphonse is like few others, because you will be diving on world-class sites within the 12m maximum depth range. The afternoon can be enjoyed at leisure.

Set out on a dolphin viewing cruise. Alphonse Island is host to a large pod of spinner dolphins year-round, and seeing them frolic around you is truly magical! The rest of the day can be spent snorkelling, before meeting for drinks and canapes at our Sunset Beach Bar.

Today you are in for a special treat! All guests will be transported to a sandbank about 20 minutes from Alphonse Island. This is where we serve our specialty flats lunch! Enjoy a swim and some ice cold drinks whilst lunch is prepared on the spot.

Spend some more time with the Conservation Team, learning more about turtles and Giant Tortoises. This is followed by a half day bluewater fishing excursion where you will have the thrill of reeling in Tuna, Wahoo and maybe even Sailfish. All fishing on a catch and release basis.

Why not end off your island holiday with a 60 minute massage in Azure Spa? You could also spend some time exploring, cycling, kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding between the turtles, snorkelling, swimming and tanning.

Enjoy the last moments of your trip with a leisurely breakfast before preparing for departure back to Mahe. Depending on the time of your scheduled flight, you could revisit an activity that you enjoyed one last time.
